What is a recall?
A recall is implemented by the manufacturer when an aspect of the design or construction of a product may affect the safe operation of the vehicle. MINI operates inline with the code of practice on safety defects, in accordance with the Department for Transport and the representative Trade Associations and in compliance with the UK General Product Safety Regulations 2005.

Using your vehicle registration or 17-digit vehicle identification number (VIN) we're able to determine if there is an outstanding safety recall on your vehicle.
Where can I find my 17-digit vehicle identification number (VIN)?
This can be found at the lower passenger side of the windscreen from the exterior of the vehicle. It can also be found in the V5 registration document of the vehicle.
Is there any charge for the cost of repairs on the recall?
No, MINI covers the entire cost of the recall.
